Looking for a meaningful way to spend your day? Volunteer with Carrying Hope on Sunday, Jan. 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Circle C Community Center (7817 La Crosse Ave, Austin, TX 78739) and help us transform all of the incredible donations we received over the holidays into Hope Packs for children entering foster care. Thanks to our generous community, we are currently busting from the seams with everything from diapers and clothing to blankets and books and we need your help! Please join us for a morning of packing and sorting (there will be coffee and tacos for fuel) to help us create Hope Packs filled with everything a child needs for the first 48 hours in care. This is a great volunteer opportunity for anyone, including families with young children, who want to help make a difficult transition a little brighter and more hopeful for the kids who need it most.
