Thank you to everyone who joined us from the comfort of your homes during a freezing evening to unite together for a common cause during Carrying Hope’s VIRTUAL Fostering Love Gala!
Despite the unprecedented and very difficult events of this past week, we want to take some time to tell each of you how grateful we are for your support that continues to allow us to directly impact and brighten the lives of those who need hope and comfort the most––children in the foster care system. We remain blown away by the success of our fourth annual fundraising gala, which despite being virtual, allowed us to surpass our goals and wildest expectations to raise more than $115,000 for children in foster care. These funds are absolutely critical for us to be able to meet our goals for 2021, which include expanding our services throughout Texas to ensure every child entering foster care receives a Hope Pack and opening our first-ever emergency shelter for children awaiting a more permanent placement.
For the past four years, Carrying Hope has been at the door as a child arrives, and now when a child has nowhere to go, we are excited to announce that we will be opening a new door to welcome them inside––and we have each one of you to thank for this.

This week on Wednesday, Feb. 24, Carrying Hope will also be distributing basic necessities to Central Texas children who have suffered as a result of the polar vortex.
