What started 10 years ago with a simple commitment—to make sure no child entering foster care has to face a moment of crisis without the essentials they need—has grown into something much bigger.

This year, Carrying Hope is celebrating 10 years of bringing hope, stability, and opportunity to children, youth, and families impacted by the foster care system. We’re marking this milestone at our annual fundraising gala, Hope Blooms, and we would love for you to be part of this very special celebration.

On Friday, February 26, we’ll gather at Assembly Hall in downtown Austin to celebrate a decade of impact—and raise the resources needed to make an even greater impact in the next 10 years.

Over the past decade, Carrying Hope has grown from one program into a network of essential services supporting young people at some of the most vulnerable and pivotal moments in their lives. Today, our pillar programs include:

• Hope Packs — Backpacks filled with comfort items and essential supplies for newborns through teens entering foster care, providing a sense of dignity, comfort, and security during the first 24–48 hours of an incredibly difficult transition. Since 2016, Hope Packs and Carrying Hope programs have impacted more than 47,000 youth and families across Texas.
• Hope’s Home — Transitional housing for young adults ages 18–22 who are aging out of foster care. In addition to a safe place to live, residents receive wraparound case management and support connecting to education, employment, healthcare, and other resources that can help them build a foundation for independence.
• Hair + Hope — A program connecting youth in foster care with local stylists who specialize in textured hair, while fully compensating those professionals for their expertise. To date, more than 200 youth have benefited from Hair + Hope.

And we’re just getting started.

As Carrying Hope celebrates 10 years, we’re also looking ahead to the next chapter—continuing to expand our programs, deepen our reach, and ensure that foster youth have the support they need not only in moments of crisis, but as they grow, transition, and build their futures.

Hope Blooms is Carrying Hope’s largest fundraiser of the year, and sponsorship support directly helps sustain and expand the programs that serve Texas youth and families. It also gives local businesses and community leaders an opportunity to celebrate a meaningful milestone alongside an organization making a tangible difference in the community.

Sponsorship opportunities are available at a variety of levels, with opportunities for companies to receive recognition and visibility throughout the gala and help us launch Carrying Hope into its next decade of impact.
