Carrying Hope spent the day delivering HOPE! On this fabulously sunny Friday, we had the honor of delivering 223 specially-curated Hope Packs to shelters, residential treatment centers and foster care agencies across Texas, spanning Austin to Houston! A huge THANK YOU to our summer Hope Pack volunteers who lovingly shopped and assembled these special Hope Packs, brimming with items specifically tailored to each child’s interests, sizes, wish lists and passions! Many of the children receiving these Hope Packs have been sheltering in place since March, forgoing their normal fun-filled outings to summer camps and swimming pools, so these deliveries brought some much-needed hope and happiness! Each year we hold community-wide summer drives in honor of Hope’s birthday, and although this year’s fourth birthday celebration was a little different without being able to gather together with our amazing volunteers, it was just as special because of the incredible impact you all made! Thank you!
