Times of crisis can put a strain on struggling families, and Carrying Hope is grateful to be able to continue our distributions to children in need during this overwhelming period. Adrica Boffman, who received 100 Hope Packs for Waco CPS this week, said: “When we have children to come into care, they are most often sad, emotional, and uncertain. When we give each child their own Hope Pack, you often see their faces light up, the tears sometimes dry, and the excitement of receiving something new to call all their own. There have been times when children ask, ‘Is this mine, can I keep it?’ or, ‘Can I take it home with me?’ We are grateful to have the ability to give each child a bag full of hope is what I like to say.”
